Selinunte the ancient Sicilian city is located on the south-western coast of Sicily in the province of Trapani.
Is the largest archaeological park in Europe consisting of the acropolis, the area of greatest historical and cultural interest. It is located in a wonderful coastline, and is composed of various fortifications placed on the top of a limestone plateau, offering to a spectacular view of the sea. The temples were built by Carthaginians the year they arrived in 409 BC.
